Ok I will do my best to cover this whole mess as quickly as possible. For several months now I have been living with a very strange video problem. Basically I cannot play any videos on my computer. Windows media players says cannot open file. Winamp does nothing, no error message, it literally does nothing at all when I click play. The same goes for Intervideo and Quicktime. Now the strange part is I can see streaming videos from sites like YouTube or sites that use their own embedded player but any site using Windows Media player doesnt work. On those sites nothing happens at all, I can see the window for the player and even the controls but it never loads and no error messages. I have uninstalled and reinstalled each player already with no results. Oh and for some reason windows media player will not play MP3's either but iTunes and Winamp will. I have no idea what is going on and its really starting to bug me. If anyone has any ideas at all i would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance, Dan.
