    No emulation(CDROM)

    hi guys!


    i dont know if the problem is my cdrom the cd that i used..when i tried to use a original windows xp sp1 bootable cd to boot a message displays "No Emulation" and then the cdrom stops from reading the cd inside..

    any help would be much appriciated.

    Does your CD drive work OK with other CDs?

    Any ISO or Daemon tools installed on this machine ? ?
    Is this a copy of an XP CD or does it have shiny holograms all over it ? ?
    Are you doing a re-install ?

      it is an original windows xp cd,it has a hologram in it.

        its ok now, theres nothing wrong with the no emulation thing cause ive tried it in other computer then even though it appears the no emulation it continues to read the cd, the problem was the cdrom.
