Monitor problem
« on: January 04, 2005, 02:30:16 PM »
Last week my monitor starting dimming alot about every half hour or so,,, in fact a couple of times the answering machine on the tele. even come on. like a power dip. I had the power company put a recorder on the meter and they say the power is fine,, I put a amprobe on the circuit and I only draw 3 to 4 amps on the line.. I was wondering if the monitor is going bad since it does drop out sometimes and get dimmer alot.. I even put the monitor on a diff. ckt and it still does the same... Does anyone know if monitors go dim alot before they go ???
Lots of noise also, clicking, sounds and etc..

Sometimes they go dim.  Just like a TV, how does it react before it goes out?
