Outlook Express splits up attachments into 50 or more emails
« on: January 20, 2008, 08:50:44 PM »
Hi. I really need help. More than a month ago, my outlook express started splitting up my pics or attachments i'm sending. The people I'm sending it to, get sometimes over 100 emails that they can't open. When I hit send, I see it sending tons and dont know what to do.
I hope I've explained the problem  so you can understand whats happening. (a computer dummy here!)
Thanks in advance
A

Welcome to the CH forums

Open Outlook Express
Click  Tools>Accounts>Mail>Properties>Advanced

Clear the check box beside Break Apart Messages Larger Than....>Apply>OK

Good luck & please post back with your result.

Dusty:  I really appreciate you giving the time to help me fix Outlook.  Now what I can't figure out is why a dummy would not send anyone emails for more than a month and not think that there was a place to ask for help.
A month without sending attachments then it was fixed overnight. Can't believe it  !!   thks again.  Al
