highlighted letters
« on: January 09, 2005, 05:53:58 PM »
I wrote the question about the letters "l" and 'I' being highlighted but it came up showing that I am a guest instead of a registered member,I can not access the repoxes in that mode so maybe I can see the responses in this message.

I signed up to this forum but when I try to use the system it won't let me because it reads me as a guest rather than a registered member thus I can not open messages.

If you don't know the answer, it isn't a dumb question.

I am getting your response now so I will repeat my question as clearly as is possible.
When I am using anything within the internet explorer,ex. address list or opening a favorites folder then clicking on a file, the letters "l" and "i" are highlighted in orange. THe whole word is not highlighted: just the two previously mentioned letters.
I have checked a variety of settings, programs but can not find the cause. this does not happen when viewing web pages or other files.
If anyone knows how to eliminate this ...please tell me. Thank you
