Computer automatically shuts off
« on: January 11, 2005, 07:01:29 AM »
Before I was having installation problems like I have posted previously, but now when I turn on my computer, after like a minute, the cursor freezes and you can't move the mouse.  Then, the computer automatically shuts itself off.  I last scanned for viruses with Norton AntiVirus 2004 on 1/1/05.  Can anyone tell me why this is happening?  How can I fix it?

Gonna need some info like is the system old or new?  What Operating System are you running?  Have you scanned for spy/adware?  Did you recently install new hard/software?

Try reseating all your parts.. ram, video card, etc.
