    I have a hewlett packard desktop pc me 2000 edition. i was trying to install a new cd drive  and when i took off the 2nd side panel the power button cable came off the motherboard. i dont remember where it goes and the only 2 pins are for com 2 and for speaker and reset and it doesnt fit there. but when i did try to put it where the speaker and reset pin is the computer turned on but didnt boot and the screen was black and the bottom led was flashing. i need to know where to plug it back in, it has a 7 pin connector(4pins then a space and then 3 pins). please help!!

    Have you tried HP's website or their tech support?
