    I have windows xp and the date and time on my computer is not working. I set it, and it stays in the spot I set it at.  Can anyone tell me why this might happen and or what I can do about it? please help

    The motherboard in your computer has a battery that stores the time and other settings.  You probably need to replace it.  See How to replace the CMOS battery
