    hard drive format

    i have a computer that is running 98 but i want to format the hard drive.  what is the quickest way to do this without using a floppy disk. i have no startup disk what so ever and no os disks

    If you format the drive, you will lose Windows 98. Formatting doesn't play favorites, it wipes out everything. You'll need a Windows 98 CD for this.

      A Windows 98 CD with a proper registration key? Ebay if you're lucky.
