BAD-POOL-CALLER or BAD-POOL-HEADER
« on: May 26, 2008, 11:33:45 AM »
I have an Emachine T2984 and Windows XP Pro Service Pack 2; I have gotten a  blue screen for one month with the message "Bad-Pool-Caller" most of the time and 1-2 times "Bad-Pool-Header". It is very hard for me to point to a program that had caused that. It could be Zune after I updated the software(!?)  but I uninstalled Zune and I continue to get the error; once, as  I remember, it happened when I start Windows Media Player.  I checked Device Manager and in Non-Plug and Play devices section,  HTTP has an exclamation yellow mark. I un-installed HTTP device but after I rebooted my computer it was still there.
When I  had Zune installed (after updating its software) and I tried to charge my Zune, the USB port began to make noise, like I was plugging and unplugging My Zune non-stop. I tried my flash drive with the same port and it worked normally.

Not "cooler", but "caller", I think?
