    pps attachments in email
    « on: June 17, 2008, 08:40:43 PM »
Lately a lot of my emails from friends are coming with pps attachments.  I try to open them and I get a message to either browse for a program in my computer to open them or go to the microsoft website to find a program to open them.  Neither works.  Anyone having this problem?  This is a new for me.  :o  It never fails once you resolve one problem you get another.  ;D

You do not have Microsoft Office, right?  Get this: PowerPoint Viewer 2003

Thanks soybean it works now.  Another problem I've had lately in my email is I sent two things from work to my home computer that had pictures inserted and when I open them at home there's no pictures.  This just started happening lately.   ::)

          Hi Broni,

Outlook at work and Incredimail at home.

As a troubleshooting step, you might try setting up your email account in Outlook Express at home and see whether you have the same problem with it.
