    Dell Dimension 4100 Memory an other URGENT PROB

    I have a dell dimension 4100, when I went to turn it on it gave me this strange beeping.  It said ab error remove an reseat the memory so i did.  I tired other ram an still the same thing I also cleaned it an still dont work.  It shows the blue dell logo on the screen.  This is the internet sever for my network.

      Did you try 1 RAM stick at a time?

         :'( :'( :'( :'(  Sorry,  Its that error code on the back an it came up saing It gives me a invaild boot floppy, inset boot floppy in drive a.  I have,  it gave me like a ring kind of sound aside from no ram beep.

        Is there a floppy in the floppy drive? (if you have a floppy drive)

          yes but it gives me an error I put the program on a floppy an got an error messages saing Remove disk or other media press any key to restart.

            You have to remove the Floppy in order for the computer to boot up. Just to let you know...

              I did repeats to first error message, tried this in a machine almost exatly like this one, got the same results.
