Retrive files and folders after windows corrupted

I have a question if you had a virus and can't get into windows no matter what, is there a program out there that I could use that would retrieve important stuff such as music or files or folders for example?

You could boot from a cd which will allow copying of the files (Knoppix is one) but if any folder/file was infected you would be copying the virus.

You best post in the Computer Viruses and Spyware forum, one of the CH authorised malware removal specialists will help.
