Hardware without Software

Sorry if this has been posted, I tried searching, but did not see anything.

Sparing you the details, my computer got restored to its factory settings.  Now it doesn't recognize my printer and scanner without the disks, which I don't have.  I was just wondering, what can I do now?

Go to the site of the manufacturer of your hardware and download the drivers for you scanner and printer.  You can save them to your hard drive and install them from there.
