    Hide or disable taskbar
    « on: July 14, 2008, 05:42:44 AM »
I'v e been asked to implement a database in a warehouse with multiple users.  All I am giving them is a mouse, screen and PC.  They will have no keyboard.  All is working fine.
The PC will be permanently logged on so work on one sign-on.

Because the user account has access to a network drive I want them to not be able to physically access it (but need the access  for the database).  My question then is how can I disable (or permamently hide) the taskbar and start button when this user logs in.
Also is it possible to disable the right mouse button over the desktop?

Ideally, I'd like all this to be done when the PC is logged and a batch file is run to do this action, however all suggestions would be gratefully received.

So I'm guessing you want the users to access/modify the database only and not see or access the other files on the network drive? Is this why you are wanting to hide the taskbar and start button? My computer also?
      Registry hack maybe?? try http://www.pctools.com/guides/registry/id/42/
