    Cursor Auto Jumps Backward When Typing or Entering data

    When typing or entering text/data cursor will automatically jump back
    at start or some other random point.  How do you turn this off? Makes
    it almost impossible to type or enter data on anything

            I don't know if this may be the problem or not but do you think you might be touching the touch pad when you're typing?
            I know I've done it a few times on my cousins laptop.

              you know what?  You might be right I am going to check this out
              and see if this is the problem - I am typing this now and not having
              any problem at all - Dam - You are genius for sure.  Thanks for all of

                        depending on the brand of laptop, you can set it so that it doesnt recognise your palm as input. I dont know where this setting would be for your laptop

                        You could also disable the touch-tapping if you don't need/want it.

                        My laptop cannot disable the touch pad but I can disable the touch tapping. So that's what the check box was for...  :P
