    Keyboard issues
    « on: August 04, 2008, 08:06:30 PM »
    Hi,

I have a HP dv2700 Notebook PC, and the keyboard stopped working.  None of the buttons work what so ever.  Is there something I can do to try to fix this issue before I just go and get it replaced? or repaired?

It looks like your laptop keyboard is dead.

Unless there is an option to disable the keyboard like some laptops can have their mouse pad disabled, although I think this is very unlikely.  :P

Most laptop keyboards are automatically disabled when an external keyboard is connected.
Disconnect the external and re-boot the machine a few times...
