Microsoft Office 2003 sku112.cab file
« on: March 03, 2005, 06:13:29 PM »
I have Microsoft Office 2003, and I tried to upgrade it yesterday, but everytime I tried to upgrade, it asks for the "sku112.cab" file.  I have searched other forums and I could not find any help.  Please any suggestions.  If somebody has Microsoft Office 2003 please look in this location C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\1033\112, I think that file is there, if you find it, please send it to me to [email protected].  Thanks for you help.

They would need to have MS Office 2003 Standard Edition, that is the "112" part.

Microsoft suggests that you have multiple versions of Office (Professional, Standard, SBE) and to fix just uninstall all office applications and reinstall them.

I have seen many computers come with preinstalled software.  I have never seen computers come with preinstalled software without the ability to reinstall that software.  (At least not computers from reputable vendors.)

Sometimes the installation disks are located on your hard drive and your are expected to make copies of them.  Sometimes they are located on a "master" cd.  The computer vendor has to give you a way to recover you OS and software.
