At least I think that's what it's called.

My laptop is a Dell Latitude C800 Professional Version.

I used to have a Memorex CD/RW Recorder. It used Nero 6. (the unit died). I did a backup with Nero's backup feature.  Now when I try to open a file, I get a screen that has nothing but a mess of symols. How can I change this into something I can read.

If you can see the file type extension (.nco), change it to .zip, and open it with whatever program you usually open .zips with. If not, go to control panel --> folder options --> view --> uncheck "hide file extensions for known types" so you can see the filetype.

You need to open it with Nero Back It Up...

WARNING: If you run this you will wipe your data and take the machine back to the day the image was created...
