Need technical help for this game

Hey All,

There's this online game I recently installed onto my PC called Maple Story. It's a great game but everytime I run it I'm very laggy in the game and sometimes freeze up when I'm doing attacks or teleporting. Then I have to shut down the computer.
I know it's not the game's fault, I've checked and it's working fine, and it's not only the game that's getting laggy, I sometimes have to shut down when I'm on the internet, so I tried checking the computer.

I called my internet connections provider (comcast) and they said my connection is running fine.

I cleaned out its registry, I ran a "boot check", and it still continues to run slow and freeze up.

Does anyone have any tips or hints, or should I buy a new PC?

SPACE USED: 14.4GB
SPACE FREE: 19.4GB
CAPACITY: 33.8GB
INTEL(R) 4 CPU 2.80 GHz, 2.79GHz, 248MB of RAM

ERROR MESSAGES: There are none, I just freeze up, the screen goes either black or white.
MANUFACTURER: Dell

ISSUE HAS BEEN OCCURING FOR QUITE A WHILE BUT BECAME VERY NOTICEABLE WHEN MAPLE STORY WAS INSTALLED.

First, I would follow the steps here:

Then I would get at least 512MB RAM for your computer.

Heh, you can get it at a computer store. (Check if you have any free slots on your Motherboard, but try my guide first)

I used your guide and it helped free up a lot of space, but my computer is still running slow. The fan is fine, so tomorrow I will go buy a 512MB RAM from Staples and hopefully that will solve my problem. =) GOODNIGHT and THANKS AGAIN!
