    Limited account HELP
    « on: October 05, 2008, 03:49:22 PM »
I am running win xp pro and have it setup with two Accounts. One is ADMIN account and one is Limited account.

When I plug my Digital Camera into the computer when I am loged onto the ADMIN Account it works ok and I can copy the Photos onto my computer.

But when I am under the Limited Account I can and plug my Camera into the computer it wont let me copy the photos to the computer.

As soon as I open the Icone for the Camera it says
Windows Explorer has encountyered a problem.

And this only happens when I am under the Limited Acount so I know it is windows trying to protect it's self.

I know I can just give ADMIN rights to the Limited Account but then it will be open for anything to happen.

Can I just Pick what I want to be locked up in the Limited Account??
    Thanks

You can try adding security rights and permissions to the camera under properties.

What do you mean ADIN. Never heard of that.  ::)
In Windows XP the Administrator is called just that. ;D
While logged in as the Administrator, you can change the rank of other users.

"ADIN" does not appear anywhere in nymph4's post. Please post responsibly in future.

Plug the camera in while in the Administrator account, right click the camera icon, and choose properties. Under security tab, add the limited user and give full permission. This may work. Good luck
