I don't think the title made sense!

I would like to know the command that finds a username via the computer name on our network to assit with updating our asset listing,

    Rookie

    There is no such command. You could use the command net view. Just type net view and hit enter. It will give you a list of all the computer currently connected to the same DNS server as you are.

    But that is about as far as you will get with the command prompt.
