How can I correct my XP clock using GPS clock?
    « on: November 06, 2008, 03:08:39 AM »
    Hello,
I have a basic GPS module that is connected to my computer via serial port. I want to be able to correct my XP clock with the signal of the GPS (which contains accurate timing).
    Any ideas?

Why not to use Windows own time checker?

Because I am using another computer, and both to measure something, and the timing should be accurate and the same, on both of them

Do a search for Atomic Clock....there's a ton of websites that can do this on each machine.
If the GPS unit supported doing this i'm sure it would say in the Owners Manual.

          patio,
I saw the atomic clock softwares. It not good for me because I don't have Internet connection on that computer. And I also don't have the GPS manual any more...
I want to write some kind of batch file that would do this operation. What I need to know is how to access the XP clock.
          thanks!
