no internet options in control panel

there is no internet options in control panel, i can access internet options from [ie] but not control panel.   what can i do ?   thanks for your time!!!

ststem restore,  problem solved,    was installing ie7  and afterwards ie7 would open and as soon as the page loaded ie7 would just vanish,tried without ad ons and same thing,it loads then dissapears ,so i went to control panel and the internet option was gone.  looks like i will stay with opera............................!!!

The troubles IE7 can cause....

you got that right, im done with ie all together, will only use to visit microsoft, opera rocks     and so does firefox carbon

Well, this seems like a bigger issue than just IE.  Internet Options, which should be in your Control Panel, is not just for IE.
