    Missing fonts
    « on: November 13, 2008, 04:00:11 PM »
Ive been seeing certain fonts, or more specifically, special characters, from pages all over the net. The 'missing' comes up as things like ગુજરાતી. Ex, wikipedia.( see attached). No major system modifications lately. Also, if its any use, when i run CCleaner registry scan (I have not removed anything), it detects "font issues".There are many of these... possibly 75+

    Windows XP home SP3
attached dxdiag should supply all other relevant info...

I would start by changing the explorer setting to not download fonts automatically if it is set that way.
Then its a matter of deleting the bad fonts and replacing the ones that are missing.
