Yes that is a possibility. If something inside broke from impact on a table it is likely it is stopping the startup of your computer. Go and see a computer repair shop and get it checked.

I understand you are trying to assist but we're a Help Forum...
In another thread you told them to buy a new machine...in this one you're advising to take it to the shop. This is not exactly Help advice.

You can try the following: Remove all power sources.
Take off a side panel or remove the case.
Carefully remove and re-seat your RAM sticks and any addon cards such as video, sound and network cards if you have them.
Make sure you are properly grounded when doing so.
Leave the side panel off for now and double check all connections on the rear of the case. Plug in the power and turn it on.
Inspect ALL fans including the CPU, vid card and power supply to make sure they are operating properly.
Report back with your results.
