    2 Versions of Windows
    « on: November 17, 2008, 09:08:42 PM »
I purchased my PC with XP on it and just recently upgraded to Vista. I obviously was rushing through the installation process since I now still have both versions on my pc. (Before it starts up, it prompts me to choose which version to run.) Since then my system has been running ridiculously slow (duuuh   :-\)...

Is there an easy way to remove either version without messing anything up? or should I leave this to a pro?

I'd actually like to get rid of the Vista and keep XP...

Where was Vista installed to ? ?
Did you create a new partition for it ? ?
If so you can delete the Vista install on that partition and then post your boot.ini file here as it will need editing to tell it that Vista is no longer there.
