    Windows XP

Ethernet connection on my sister's PC does not work, she says it blew off, can it be replaced?  If so, can you help me with replacing it?  Is there a card to be added or cables to attach?  I'm in the dark.   :-[

If the pc is a desk top? not knowing the extent of damage you can add a ethernet card into a pci slot if you have a empty one.

      Thanks for your help!

As far as "blew up" I don't know what she means.  She just told me "I blew it off."  I assumed she meant it didn't work for some reason.   ::)

Anyway, if I can add an Ethernet card to a PCI slot, I'll just to that.  For that I imagine I just need to add the card plus drivers, right?   ???
