Monitor Crash with computer. Video Card problem?
    « on: November 21, 2008, 10:33:18 PM »
My computer randomly crashes with the monitor turning black and switching from Analog to Digital.

I tried everything to get it back but im sure its crashed as the keys and everything dont work.

I just recently tried fixing the cords but i listen and found out most of the times my computer crashed my video card tiny fan makes a faster spin as i heard.

Could this be connected with my problem? And if it is please tell me what i should do

    Download and install Speed Fan.
    Post the temperatures it reads.

Also, can you try another monitor?

        Pretty high temperatures there.

Try another monitor, as well as a fan to bring down the temperatures:

i have a 1 foot by 1 foot fan blowing into the side of my tower, with the side cleanly off. it takes my temps from 32 to 24-25, you might want to try it, your temps are HIGH

and um, that pic you showed was a space heater.... BAD idea

          Bad Idea? No kidding.

That's a Tower Fan. This is a space heater:

                  hey brother,
why don't you just pull out the graphics card, and try to run your monitor through your on board display card?
that should make things very clear...

It may be a good idea to find someone to assist who has built/worked on machines before.
