    XP SP2 won't restart/turn off
    « on: November 25, 2008, 02:06:21 PM »
Hi, a couple of things I don't know how to fix:

When I try to restart or turn off Windows, it gets to the 'windows is shutting down' screen but doesn't actually turn off. Does anyone know why/how to fix please?

Also when I first press restart/turn off I get the 'End Now/Cancel' timer box that says EAXModule is still running - but I have no idea what this is. I have a creative X-Fi Fatal1y soundcard but don't have the front panel connected up, it's in Entertainment mode all the time but EAX is not switched on - any ideas please?

I have also had the same type of box but with DLLsomething instead of EAXModule?

    Any ideas would be great.

This is directly related to the card...either it's the wrong driver or it was installed improperly...

Many others have had this issue...Here...
