    Question About Memory Upgrades
    « on: December 29, 2008, 03:11:26 AM »
Hello! I was just curious, Im looking to breath some life into my old PC with some decent Ram.

    This my Mobo - http://www.asrock.com/mb/overview.asp?Model=P4I65G

I was thinking about buying this set of Ram

    http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/-/2160/1427/-/6065985/Corsair-XMS-Xtreme-TwinX-Matched-2GB-PC3200-400MHz-DDR-184pin-DIMM-Dual-Channel-Computer-Memory/Product.html?searchtype=genre

Could anyone confirm that this ram is compatible with my system?

I think it can as it says it accepts DDR400, boards max is 2GB but im a little lost when it says "non-ECC, un-buffered memory"

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Thank you!

Yes that memory will work just fine :)

Great choice too, hard to find matched ram here in NZ, might not be where you come from though :)

It looks like all you need is standard ddr pc3200 RAM try www.aememory.co.uk in the UK, they've got the same modules for around 20GBP a piece.
