Computer is not booting and giving sound beep

When I turn on my computer nothing happens and soundbeep is coming from CPU (Soundbeep isnot continouse). I have checked everything, connections,cards. I cannot even get into bios setup options.  
This problem arises when i am using floppy  and  their is an file in floppy in form of word file, when i tried to delete its again replace with another word file(does not get deleted) and after that i run norten antivirus.But after sometime my whole system gets shutdown automatically, form then its not booting up and also giving sound beep from cpu. i have ME as my OS.

Anyone with possible solutions would be greatly appreciated.
