    Is my harddrive Sata or IDE

    I've a futjitsu Siemens Amilo Pi2515 notebook. at the Bios screen it says for the hard disk
    WDC WD2 500 BEVS22UST0-(S1)1 and maximum capacity 250GB SATA 1
    but under the boot order it says IDE HDD : WDC WD2500 BEVS - 22 UST0-(S1).

    The specs: are showing a WD SCORPIO SATA.Im going on what i have read.

    Answered your own question, kind of :)
    I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.
