    « on: February 26, 2009, 08:39:11 AM »
I have a modem and a  wireless router and i can't connect to the internet via IE and FF.
    I know im connected
however, my brother can connect to Xbox Live, but the wireless router does not work with anything which includes laptops.

See, if wired connection to the modem (bypassing router) works.

This is only for testing purposes - 5, or 10 minutes.

i had the same problem before. what router are you using. i was using belkin i had the same problem as you. Now am using Linksys it work fine with it.

i have a subjection I DONT KNOW if its going to work or not. why don't try with a static IP address. if you dont have one you to create one and properly rout it to internet explorer. Dont use IE it sucks try firefox or google chrome.
