    Will my motherboard support this processor?

    i have a Intel Grantsdale-G i915G chipset with 775 socket all i want to know is if the processor shown here:

    is supported by my chipset
    i have tried looking for specs of my motherboard but i either find a motherboard that does not match mine or none at all.

    any help will be greatly appreciated

      Weren't you the one that had a post about the Dell Dimension 4700? If so that processor will not work.

        You are limited to these Pentium 4 processors and the highest you can go is the 570 3.8 ghz with hyperthreading. I've been told you can use the 6xx series processors with a bios upgrade. No way a core 2 quad will work!
