    Software to enable S.M.A.R.T on hard drive when Bios doesn't Enable it?

    I was wondering if there is some free software that will enable the SMART monitoring on my hard drive. My Bios doesn't allow it to be enabled.

    SpeedFan gives some S.M.A.R.T info.  This is not SpeedFan's main purpose but it does provide some hard drive info.

    Also the drive manuf. offer FREE diagnostic tools at their site that are a bit more thorough than SMART...
