    need to recover files from a formatted hard drive

    I got some virus and something went wrong with my computer starting i tried to reformat and reset to factory settings but I shut down my computer halfway through the procedure. the reformat completed but the reset did not. I need to recover all of my files from the hard drive from before the reformat please help me. thank you.

      You can try to use a file recovery program like PC Inspector File recovery. Nothing is promised though.

      I would respectfully disagree. Not a ton of money.
      But with the way the economy is going ???

      No, not my choice. Everybody else prefers Recuva over anything else by a 2 to 1 margin. So, I can't be right all the time.
