    Dual Monitors
    « on: May 30, 2009, 11:10:21 AM »
    Hello,

I have a video card with dual vga ports. I'm trying to run dual monitors. When I plug in both monitors and start my computer, only one monitor shows. It gets all the way to the "loading Windows XP" screen and then goes black. The light switches from blue to amber as if its in hibernation. What can I do to get both monitors to work?

    Thanks.

You have to tell Windows to "Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor".  Have you done that?  This should help: http://it.cas.psu.edu/1423.htm

When both monitors are connected, my computer will not boot to the desktop.  When I disconnect one monitor, I can get to the desktop. Are there any BIOS changes I need to make?
