    Int Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close
    « on: June 10, 2009, 11:40:34 AM »
    Am getting 'Int Explorer needs to close' messages frequently.

    Also occasionally get
     Microsoft C++Runtime library
    Runtime error
    Program:c:\ProgramFiles\InternetExplorer\IEXPLORE.EXE
    This application has requested the runtime to terminatecin an unusual way. Please contact the applicant's support team for more information.

    Have a dissertation to prepare so all help gratefully received.

        What version of IE are you using?
        What XP service pack is installed?
