Homerow Keyboard Keys Stopped Working

Hi all,

I'm having a problem with my Dell Inspiron 6400 keyboard.  Really randomly the homerow keys have stopped working a/s/d/f/j/k/l/; 

I have no idea what sparked this to occur and have tried reinstalling the drivers and taking out the battery as a few other forums have told me to do but nothing has resolved the problem.  Can anybody tell me what I am doing wrong or what I can do to fix this problem?  Thanks

Have you tried cleaning with compressed air?The other method is to take the keys off [mark the lay out first] use cotton swabs & alchol to clean.
