Explore.exe hogs memory when printing pics
    « on: July 13, 2009, 07:25:49 AM »
I print large numbers of pictures at work and after printing about 20, I try to print another batch and I get a message about not enough memory.  I go to task manager and see that Explorer.exe is using anywhere from 60 - 100 mb of memory even after I am done printing.  How can I get explorer to release this memory so i can continue without restarting between each group of pics.  Thanks for any help.  I am on Windows xp

    Please, post some computer info:
    - processor type, amount of RAM (hold Windows logo key, hit Pause/Break key)
    - hard drive size/free space (open "My Computer", right click on hard drive letter, click "Properties")
    - security programs in use (antivirus, firewall)
