    Will a pci-e 2.0 video card work on this mobo

    Hi everyone was just wondering if a pci-2.0 video card would work on this mobo im not sure on the specs so i got the link to were i bought it a while back any help is appreciated :)

      One thing though. What is your power supply rating in watts?

        only 600w im gonna upgrade it to 1000w i think to get the 8 pin pcie and to get more power through my system :)

        The computer will only use what is needed as far as the power supply. If you think by increasing the supply and getting boost on hardware it wont happen.

        If 600W is plenty for your system, getting a 1000W power supply would be a waste of money. 

        But if you are just on the edge of your current power supply, getting higher power PSU would certainly lighten the load on it and perhaps you'll get more performance out of the hardware you have if your computer's no longer struggling to work :)

          There's absolutely nothing wrong with a 1000W PSU...
          Provided it's from a good manuf.
