Pc sound input to usb headset
    « on: August 04, 2009, 03:12:15 AM »
I have my xbox 360 sound plugged into my pc's sound input. I can get the sound out of my speakers fine, but I want it to come out of my usb headset, and no matter what settings I change around no matter what it still only comes out of the speakers. Is this even possible? I don't see any reason why it shouldn't work, but I can't get it to. Any information would be helpful at all.

Can't you just connect your headset to the XBox?

No, you can't connect a USB headset to xbox 360, it just doesn't work. But, I found a way to get it to work. I had to download Virtual Audio Cable, it did the trick. Can route any input to any output through a virtual repeater.

Cool, I had no idea that they made the XBox so you can't connect a USB audio device.

      Does that sound odd?
