    I dont know why this is happening or anything.  I seen that the power led wasnt lighting up after I installed an new fan to the front of this machine.  I thought that it was just me at first but I added more heat paste to the cpu an such still nothing.  See specs on the side.

      Check your connections from the front panel to the motherboard header...are they all accounted for?
      Four pin square connector attached to MB?
      20/24 pin connector firmly in place to motherboard?
      Check power cord to back of PC and wall....

        none of that was changed except for the power led.  I thought that it may have been overheating but its been about 5 hrs or so since this moring an I really didnt have it run long enough too an there is sufice cooling.

          Let me have some time with it for a while.  I think it maybe cold if I recall that is what happened the last time here.  So till I say other wise, we just have to wait.

            No Post,No Beep,No Video ...... no fans spinning either? , any sign of power at all?....is it possible for a new fan to take the power supply out?

            Remove the new fan and see if it powers up.

              It seems like the keyboard lights are coming on now.  The fans spin up, I disconnect the one to the front.  I dont think it is it ran fine for a while there is now a 500 watt psu in there, not sure if I changed that.  It seems like its coming back, if your not going to post any more today we'll see tommorow at best.

                I'm just thinking if you connect the front fan again and you lose power then the power supply might be failing and it's not carrying the load of the new fan.,,,make sense?

                  There were no changes to this build other then that.  This is a perfectly new psu only about 2 mths old at best.  Still the same thing but removeing the fan has helped.

                    Would an good reason why that it isnt, is cause one of the sata connectors broke off the board?  :o  I hate too get a new board  :(  I need a cpu here for my other one.  :(

                      Would this cause it or not?  I'm about ready to try another board that may work cant say that it does but kind of hoping that it will.  If nothing else I'll look for the same board since I know the config too it.

                        So here is what I had done.  I tried the old board an it works surprisely since I had made repairs too it an didnt think that it would work at all.  It turned out that the sata connector came off the board interly just the little connector not the pins too it or anything.  The machine boots up, the front panel isnt configed like it should be but other then adding a nic an haveing to know reinstall xp.  Which it had booted too with out issues everything is working fine.  :D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Also, the old board is an intel sever which was 100 some so I rather have that work an know its okay rather then a biostar that was only 60.  ;)

                          I just recalled that I did have files I wanted too get off the desktop, but its too late now.  I dont recall what all it was though an its probably over written.  But it works without trouble.  I think that it was haveing problems cause of the connector falling off the drives would fall off an I couldnt restart so I suppose its better all round.  :D
