IPCONFIG giving error in Windows XP.
    « on: August 21, 2009, 11:40:56 PM »
    Hi all,

Whenever I  issue the IPCONFIG command in Command window (OS - Windows XP) it close the window and displays an error message as follows:

"IPCONFIG - unable to locate component.

This application has failed to start because [email protected] was not found. Re-isatalling the application may solve the problem. "

How to fix this problem ?

    Thanks for your patience.

    regards,

    Cinita das.

Go to Start/Run and type in sfc /scannow and hit Enter...have your XP CD handy as it will ask for it.

Let it run to completion and re-boot...
