To be honest cleaning out your pc and starting fresh really isn't that difficult. Make sure that you are using a real Windows Disk unless your Laptop came with a DVD rom. If it came with a DVD rom you should be able to use bootleg copies of any windows to get up and running.
If you need, I can walk you through the process of making an ISO disk of any version of Windows to boot from.
When cleaning and re installing windows be sure to get a USB drive so you can find all your drivers for your laptop. That way once the new windows is installed all you have to do is install from your USB drive instead of trying to find them all over the internet and burn them onto CD's to install.
I can do some "phone support" if needed to help walk you through, or you can google a "how to". Either way, don't fret something you know nothing about. We all start some where and what better place then here and what better time then now.?
