    An Infected E-mail attachment.

    Hi,

    I have a query.

If you get an attachment with an email that is infected, does it affect your inbox or emails or anything at all.
Like, does the virus spread even though you haven't downloaded the attachment into your computer.

    Thanks a lot.

If you do not open the attachment you should be fine. Just delete the email.

Yeah, So one has to delete the email, does that mean it will affect things?

Again, not if you don't open the attachment, no. But you should delete the email just so nobody CAN open the attachment.
