    i have Micro-Net Framwork 2.0 service pk 2-----3.0  3.5sp1 and windows service pk 2 listed under control panel  add and remove--do i need all these?

      What do you mean do you need them? If they are already installed just leave well enough alone.

      The .Net frameworks are not cumulative as the Service Packs are...
      Each one is unique and does it's own job...
