Cannot Update Nvidia Graphic Card Driver with Windows Update
« on: November 07, 2009, 06:09:58 AM »
This past Tuesday I upgraded my Vista Home Premium computer to Windows 7 home Premium. All is fine except for one thing. I cannot update the Nvidia Graphics Card with Windows Update. I get an error message everytime I try to update it. CAn anyone shed any light on this? I tried looking for this update from Nvidia itself as a .exe file. Yet I cannot find it. I'm thinking that might work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You didn't look hard enough.  It's here:
http://www.nvidia.com/object/win7_winvista_32bit_191.07_whql.html

And, yes, it should work.  I had the same experience with installing Win 7 and the display adapter driver as you.  When Win 7 would not find an update, I went to nVidia's website and got it.
