Running Win 7 RC and using Windows Live Mail. I initially was using an old, basic wheel mouse but later bought a Microsoft optical mouse with tilt wheel, the feature that allows horizontal scrolling. Oddly, horizontal scrolling does not work in Windows Live Mail when the message pane is wider than the message and the norizontal scroll bar is displayed at the bottom of the panel.
Horizontal scrolling works fine in other apps. I have the latest drive/software installed for the mouse. I suspect this has nothing to do with my pariticular mouse and there may be no solution unless Microsoft provides a fix.
Just wondering whether any of you have noticed such variations in your horizontal scroll function.
